A group of local women recently completed the S.T.E.P.S. To Excellence programme at Monkstown Boxing Club. This evidence-based personal development programme looks at topics such as well-being, self-belief, confidence- building, motivation and goal-setting. It is designed to help people take control of their lives and unlock their potential. 100% of participants reported they felt better in their mental health as a result of the S.T.E.P.S programme and 7 participants from across have now gone on to apply for an access to university course with the open university.
